Book Review "Jane Austen: A Fair Lady and A Fine Gentleman"

Well, after two years not posting.....
My first word will be "Jane Austen". One of my favorite writers.
But this time I will not review her book, but a book that contains a collection of quotes from Jane Austen.
The cover is terrific with the addition of the titles "A Fair Lady and A Fine Gentleman" favorite quotes from the six great works of Austen-Sense and Sensebility, Pride and Prejudice (my favorite), Mansfield Park, Emma, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey.
To be honest, when I bought this book, I was a little disappointed because all the quotes were translated into Indonesian, in my opinion it slightly reduced the taste and meaning. I prefer the original quote in English because the bitterness and awkwardness hahaha.
But, the good point of this book is that every illustration depicted on each page is always beautiful and sweet. Each page contains one quote and one illustration.
Yup, best quote still from my fav Pride and Prejudice (put that in english). "We are fools in love" and "In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you
It's very smart to pair the word "ardently" with the word "love". Even I, as a reader, was very blushed and moved to read it.

Well, cut the crap. For me, growing up reading Jane Austen made me think that someone must know what she/he wants. Take this.
Could we really go crazy for missing someone that much? Could we?
At the worst case, even that someone is not mine.
This is hit my rock bottom so hard, how can a person really affect our life so damn much, not as our lover, but just as a acquaintance. Is it sound silly, right?
There’s nothing we can do about women’s heart because all of I know, we can’t choose but we can reject.
How depressed for being a woman that can’t express herself in actual life because we should behave.
And how depressed and senseless a man can be for do not care at every words and sign we put at this fragile moment.
There is nothing good than the heart who knows what they want, and someone who know how to act.
Not just as a persuasion, but a command that we can’t reject.
